Virtual reality does amazing things. We can go anywhere, become anyone, and do things that we normally wouldn’t do. But have you ever thought about putting on a wingsuit with the wind against your face, being outdoors where only you, nature, and the earth are below you? Does Developer The Binary Mill give you the ultimate speed experience? Let's find out with Rush pc VR review.

Rush VR - what is it? First of all, Rush VR is a wingsuit flying competition. Remember that in virtual reality you can be whoever you want and do whatever you want, but in virtual reality, The Binary Mill turned this question into an unambiguous statement. Jump off the mountains and race through the valley in a variety of competitive modes - solo or multiplayer. Check out our description of this toy.

Rush plot

Immerse yourself in the adrenaline-pumping world of wingsuit flying with RUSH. Go down the mountain slopes at breakneck speed. Drive through canyons, avoid outcrops, and descend cliffs as you race towards the finish line. You can use your DualShock 4 controller, htc oculus, or PlayStation Move ps4 and steer by aiming or tilting your head in Rush. At the same time, the graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack to the electronic music is fantastic. One of the key aspects of VR is the controls, and Rush VR opens up a ton of possibilities. Whether it's "gaze" with VR, tilting your head, using a DualShock, or better, a pair of Move controllers. The motion controllers are held one in each hand and raised or lowered to control height. It works well, feels immersive and fluid. However, given the extreme movement, players who suffer from motion sickness may find it affects them slightly more than most VR games.

Rush description:

  • Amazing Gameplay: Fly down four breathtaking mountains with real-time weather and time of day.
  • Challenging Races: Master over 80 unique mountain trails, from simple descents to expert suicides through the tightest spaces.
  • Several game modes: Race to the finish, Time Attack, and Score Challenge, each of which requires a specific set of skills and strategies to be successful.
  • Epic Multiplayer Jumping: Challenge 11 of your friends online or quickly compete with random jumpers.
Meanwhile, there are 4 gorgeous unique environments including Green Valley, Frozen Alps, Sunburst Canyon, and Misty Mountain. There are 3 main modes: Race, in which you race against CPU or online opponents, Time Attack, and Score Challenge, in which you try to earn as many points as possible by aiming for specific areas within each ring.
Regardless of which one is chosen, the gameplay remains largely the same: fall in style through glowing control points until the goal is reached - avoiding environmental obstacles in your path. It seems rather limited at first, with only four maps to race, but each map has twenty routes to go that act like completely different tracks in other racing games. It's old school with progress-based mechanics that give each route individually, opening one by one after completing a stage in Race Mode.
The four maps provide very different racing styles. From the verdant hills of Green Valley and the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps to the rocky outcrops of Sunburst Canyon and finally the razor-sharp ridges of Misty Mountain. What makes these stages more interesting is that different routes give very different experiences. Not only different routes through the same leg but also different times of the day and different weather conditions during the flight. You rush towards the sunrise, see your helmet freeze as snow begins to fall, or watch the sky illuminate with a flash of lightning during a raging thunderstorm.
