The Witcher 3: Wild Quest - Complete Edition

The Witcher 3: Wild Quest - Complete Edition

At the end of 2022, we finally got a port of the third part of The Witcher for next-gen consoles. The studio CD Projekt RED did their best to make their most important work maximise the technological capabilities of the PlayStation 5, so we got even better visuals, which were not limited to the increased resolution - the producer reworked a lot of textures, improved the look of the environment and reworked the chiaroscuro work. The Witcher 3: Wild Game on PS5 also received a number of changes in the interface and the way of watching the protagonist - from now on the camera is located much closer to Geralt's shoulders, as in the new adventures of Kratos.

God of War: Ragnarok

God of War: Ragnarok

Since I'm making a list of the best games for PS5, God of War: Ragnarok certainly couldn't be missed. The Santa Monica-based studio once again proved that it still has a story to tell about the familial relationship between Kratos and his son Atreus. The latest instalment in the series is based on very similar gameplay to the 2018 version, but the developers did not fail to significantly expand the existing mechanics, adding new ways to explore the game world and battle with enemies. Even more attention was paid to the plot - God of War: Ragnarok offers a very mature story with no shortage of emotions.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

The seventh instalment of 1997's Final Fantasy is considered iconic among jRPG fans, so many players were concerned about the quality of the remake, which did change the gameplay and narrative of the original quite a bit. Fortunately, Square Enix had excellent control of the situation and put a very well thought out and polished product in the hands of players. A great game made even better and offered more dynamic gameplay adapted to modern standards. The Intergrade edition for PS5 offers a more expanded storyline, developed through threads of additional characters.

Remake Dead Space

Remake Dead Space

If I had to give examples of perfect remakes, the new version of Dead Space would definitely be on my list. The Motive Studio team treated the original very respectfully, keeping many of its elements and changing them to their own liking. The remake turned out to be much larger, giving you the opportunity to explore the USG Ishimura's space mining ship more freely. At the same time, the game has become even scarier, more unpredictable and offers visuals of the highest level.

Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Forbidden West

There's no shortage of open-world games on the PlayStation 5, and Horizon Forbidden West is one of the best representatives of this type of production. The team at Guerilla Games has created stunning graphics and even better animations of the protagonist and her mechanical opponents. The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn also has a better storyline and much better written characters. The sequel offers so much content that you could easily spend up to a hundred hours playing the game and still have something to do.

Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7

In the ranking of the best PS5 games, there couldn't help but find a place for one of the most interesting car games of recent years. Gran Turismo is a legendary brand that Polyphony Digital has been perfecting since the very first PlayStation. The seventh instalment in the series gives you access to hundreds of different cars and allows you to race on real international circuits. The game features a fairly lengthy single-player campaign, plenty of optional challenges and an extensive multiplayer mode where you can test your skills against other users.

Demon's Souls

Demon's Souls

The original version of Demon's Souls went on sale in 2009 and has aged a lot since then, so in this case a remake made the most sense. For the work on the new version was taken by the studio Bluepoint Games, which perfectly coped with the task. The producer prepared the visual part completely from scratch, starting with a small redesign of locations, improving the models of characters and enemies and finishing with the preparation of new textures.
