New VR game "Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable"

Prepare to show just how much slavery is in your heart. The upcoming Attack on Titan VR game will give players the chance to follow in the footsteps of a regiment of scouts and defend the walls against the ogre Titans and save humanity.

The official trailer, titled Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable, was shown at the Meta Quest Showcase, where preview animations from the upcoming VR action game were shown. The video shows the player flying around an abandoned city against a backdrop of fire and smoke. At the same time, players will be approaching titans who are constantly roaming the area, trying to kill survivors.

Keep in mind that you'll probably need a strong stomach to get through this game - there's a good chance that the risk of motion sickness will be real if players are jumping from building to building, dodging enemies and positioning themselves for the perfect dagger strike.

According to the game's Oculus shop page, players will be practically strapped into the omnidirectional means of transportation shown in the anime, and will have to take down titans. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes and will be available for the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro headsets.

Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is not the only game based on this popular anime. Two console and PC games have been released in the past, Attack of the Titans: Wings of Freedom and Attack on Titan 2, which essentially adapted the anime's story, adding bits of new narrative to the game. The series also appeared in Fortnite, among others, around April 2023.
